Senior Planner (Policy)

Responsibilities

• Lead and assist on key planning policy projects, including local authority strategy development and strategic growth studies
• Provide strategic planning advice to clients and internal multi-disciplinary teams
• Manage relationships with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders through project work and networking
• Ensure projects are delivered successfully on budget and within established timelines
• Contribute to business development strategies and lead the preparation of commercial tenders
• Maintain high standards of quality assurance and technical excellence in all deliverables

Requirements

• Significant experience in planning policy and strategy development within a consultancy or public sector role
• Degree in Town Planning or a related discipline
• Membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) or an equivalent professional body
• Strong technical report writing and communication skills
• Proven experience in business development and nurturing client relations
