About the role

Responsibilities

  • Review sales order demand across multiple products and collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish achievable schedule dates
  • Schedule sales orders based on customer requested ship dates, factory constraints, and supplier constraints
  • Create and monitor production orders to drive factory execution
  • Coordinate production workflow for multiple products and work with purchasing to drive work at contract manufacturers
  • Partner with Inventory Control to research errors and ensure accurate material transactions
  • Monitor part structures (BoMs and Routes) for errors and initiate necessary corrections
  • Determine raw materials needed to cover production demand and monitor item planning attributes
  • Escalate issues threatening schedule adherence and provide detailed delivery status to Global Sales Support
  • Summarize and report adherence to committed dates and create business data reports for upper management

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of planning experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • US Person status (US citizenship, Permanent US residency, or protected individual status)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
  • Strong data analysis skills and ability to understand complex multi-level manufactured assemblies
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Lean manufacturing experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or MIS
