Senior Planner-Engineering

Responsibilities

• Manage new product documentation and track it through the approval process to ensure timely completion.
• Generate manufacturing part codes and customer part numbers, including all data required for finished goods manufacturing.
• Initiate and manage electronic work orders for engineering wafer lots in internal or external fabs.
• Coordinate backend manufacturing processes, including probe, assembly, final test, and qualification, with global teams.
• Create purchase requisitions for essential materials such as masks, wafers, equipment, and services.
• Track engineering materials from wafer start through to finished goods to ensure manufacturing visibility.
• Develop and maintain instructions and documentation required to release new products to production.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date part data across all company systems.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams including engineering, marketing, manufacturing, and production planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in semiconductor product planning or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Experience with ERP systems and product lifecycle management (PLM) tools in a manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• APICS Certification (e.g., CPIM, CSCP) or equivalent supply chain certification.
• Experience with database tools such as Tableau and/or Microsoft Access.
