Senior Planner

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and optimisation of detailed construction programs
• Provide expert programming and sequencing advice across project teams
• Identify key risks, constraints, and staging challenges in a live environment
• Develop fully resourced, cost-loaded schedules aligned to methodology
• Monitor project performance against milestones, KPIs, and earned value
• Undertake delay analysis, EOT assessments, and support claims
• Validate construction progress, productivity, and delivery forecasts
• Mentor engineers and planners to build capability across the project team

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior Planner on major infrastructure projects
• Civil Engineering degree (highly regarded)
• Strong background in road, motorway, or large-scale civil construction
• Advanced knowledge of programming, delay analysis, and contracts
• High-level proficiency in planning and scheduling software
• Proven ability to manage complex, staged construction environments
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills across site, client, and commercial teams
