Senior Physiotherapist

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments of patients in A&E and the Frailty Unit
• Develop and implement appropriate physiotherapy treatment plans
• Implement evidence-based interventions to facilitate recovery and mobility
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care
• Contribute to the delivery of a 7-day service
• Supervise and mentor junior staff and support workers
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient documentation

Requirements

• Registered Physiotherapist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
• Relevant degree in Physiotherapy
• Significant experience in urgent care or emergency settings (A&E and frailty services)
• Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
