About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive assessments of patients in A&E and the Frailty Unit
- Develop and implement appropriate physiotherapy treatment plans
- Implement evidence-based interventions to facilitate recovery and mobility
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care
- Contribute to the delivery of a 7-day service
- Supervise and mentor junior staff and support workers
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient documentation
Requirements
- Registered Physiotherapist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- Relevant degree in Physiotherapy
- Significant experience in urgent care or emergency settings (A&E and frailty services)
- Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
