Responsibilities

• Determine indications for operative and conservative treatment options
• Organize and conduct outpatient clinics for the Thoracic Surgery department
• Organize continuing education and patient events
• Engage in interdisciplinary cooperation and proactive communication with other departments
• Participate in the on-call service
• Supervise and train resident physicians
• Provide voluntary teaching for students

Requirements

• Specialist degree (Facharzt) in Thoracic Surgery
• Several years of clinical and operative expertise
• Strong communicative and organizational skills
• Sense of responsibility, commitment, and teamwork
• Social competence in dealing with all professional groups, patients, and referrers
• Business-oriented thinking
