Responsibilities

• Indication setting for operative and conservative treatment options
• Organization and execution of clinic outpatient consultations
• Interdisciplinary cooperation and proactive communication with other departments
• Participation in the on-call service
• Supervision and training of resident physicians

Requirements

• Specialist degree (Facharzt) in General and/or Visceral Surgery
• Several years of clinical-operative expertise, especially in minimally invasive surgery
• Ability to contribute personal special expertise in surgical specialties
• Strong communicative and organizational skills
• Responsibility, commitment, and team spirit
• Social competence in dealing with all professional groups, patients, and referrers
• Business-oriented thinking
