Senior Physician Cardiology

Responsibilities

• Provide senior medical care for cardiology patients
• Independently perform diagnostic cardiac catheterization
• Participate in on-call duties in the cardiac catheterization lab
• Participate in structural interventions such as mitral valve interventions (MTEER, e.g., MitraClip), LAA closure, and PFO/ASD closures
• Collaborate interdisciplinary within a Heart Team in cooperation with a university heart team
• Participate in TAVI and MTEER boards
• Supervise and provide further training to resident physicians and specialists

Requirements

• Specialist degree (Facharzt) in Internal Medicine and Cardiology
• Experience in a cardiac catheterization lab
• Ability to independently perform coronary angiographies
• Interest in electrophysiology and structural heart procedures
• Strong teamwork, responsibility, and quality orientation
