Senior Pharmacy Technician - Inventory

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, and organize incoming pharmacy supplies and maintain accurate inventory levels
• Count medication stock and enter updates into inventory systems
• Replenish medications for sorting, filling, and dispensing
• Remove and process short-dated, expiring, or recalled products
• Coordinate returns of medications to distribution centers
• Operate automated sorting and counting equipment and troubleshoot dispensing automation
• Apply and verify labels to ensure accuracy
• Assist Pharmacists with medication preparation and dispensing
• Support the development and updates of inventory procedures and work instructions

Requirements

• 5+ years of related experience
• Active Tennessee Pharmacy Technician License
• At least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience
• Experience handling medication inventory or stock control

Preferred Qualifications

• National Pharmacy Technician certification (PTCB or ExCPT)
• Experience in Central Fill, warehouse, or automated pharmacy environments
• Strong computer skills, including inventory or pharmacy systems
• Experience working with automated dispensing or counting equipment
• Ability to analyze inventory issues and propose solutions
