Senior Performance Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, script, configure, and run performance tests to validate production readiness of software applications and infrastructure
• Create performance testing artifacts including test strategies, test plans, estimates, and KPI reports
• Condition test data to accurately simulate real-world test scenarios
• Utilize tools like JMeter, AppDynamics, and Fiddler to capture and analyze data to identify performance bottlenecks
• Collaborate with Development and Architecture teams to troubleshoot and resolve performance-related issues
• Work effectively within an Agile/Scrum environment
• Provide mentorship on performance engineering and automation frameworks
• Propose innovative solutions to address complex business problems

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a STEM-related program
• 7+ years of professional experience as a Performance Test Engineer
• Proficiency with JMeter and API testing
• Extensive experience with AppDynamics and Fiddler
• Strong understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, OOPS, and Database concepts
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Proven ability to profile application end-to-end performance and generate detailed software performance reports

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with WebLOAD or other performance testing tools
• Strong knowledge of scenario building and general QA concepts
• Deep understanding of the product landscape and business requirements
