Senior Performance Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, script, configure, and run performance tests to validate software stability and production readiness
• Create performance testing artifacts including test strategies, test plans, estimates, and KPI reports
• Condition test data to accurately simulate real-world test scenarios
• Utilize load testing tools like JMeter and performance engineering tools like AppDynamics and Fiddler to identify bottlenecks
• Collaborate with Development and Architecture teams to troubleshoot performance-related issues
• Work within an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high-quality testing solutions
• Provide mentorship to team members on performance engineering and automation frameworks

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a STEM-related field
• 7+ years of experience as a Performance Test Engineer
• Proficiency with JMeter and API Testing
• Strong understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, OOPS, and Database concepts
• Hands-on experience with AppDynamics, Fiddler, and CI/CD pipelines
• Proven ability to profile application end-to-end performance and generate detailed analysis reports

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with WebLOAD or other similar performance testing tools
• Strong knowledge of scenario building and general QA concepts
• Deep understanding of product architecture and business logic
