About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of large-scale, multi-modal environmental perception models to enable generalizable perception, planning, and manipulation for robotic platforms.
- Design robust training pipelines using high-quality, traceable data for large-scale model development.
- Integrate perception pipelines with reinforcement learning and sim2real adaptation techniques.
- Validate models in both simulation and real-world embodiments, iterating on performance across diverse tasks.
- Collaborate with hardware teams and contribute to the technical strategy of the Autonomous Robotics Center.
- Publish and patent breakthrough research in the fields of robotics and AI.
Requirements
- BS in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in machine learning specifically for perception and autonomy.
- Deep understanding of perception models, LLMs, ViTs, and multi-modal architectures.
- Proficiency in Python and C++.
- Experience with ML frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Familiarity with 3D vision, graphics pipelines, and robotic data modalities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with robotic systems and frameworks like ROS/ROS2, MoveIt, or Nav2.
- Experience in industrial automation, autonomous vehicles, or ADAS.
- Knowledge of CI/CD and modern software development practices.
- PhD with publications in top-tier venues such as NeurIPS, CVPR, or ICRA.
