About the role

Responsibilities

  • Own and execute end-to-end payroll processing for Mexico and Brazil in partnership with TMF and internal systems.
  • Lead payroll input coordination, validation, and approvals, ensuring all compensation changes and statutory elements are accurately captured.
  • Maintain and audit employee data in Workday, including hires, terminations, and organizational updates to ensure audit readiness.
  • Perform payroll reconciliations, funding validations, and variance analysis to resolve discrepancies prior to sign-off.
  • Ensure compliance with all Mexico and Brazil statutory requirements, including filings, remittances, and year-end activities.
  • Partner closely with Finance on payroll reconciliations, accruals, and reporting.
  • Identify and drive process improvements and automation opportunities across payroll and employee data processes.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience supporting payroll and employee administration.
  • Direct ownership of Mexico and/or Brazil payroll is strongly preferred.
  • Deep knowledge of Mexico and Brazil payroll statutory requirements, including income tax, social security, and local compliance.
  • Experience working with payroll systems and third-party providers, specifically Workday and/or TMF.
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish (writing, reading, and verbal business communication).
  • Strong analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting payroll audits, statutory compliance, and regulatory reporting.
  • Experience working in a multinational, fast-growing, or matrixed environment.
  • Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and reconciliation formulas.
