Senior People Operations Specialist

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end HR operations for Poland, managing the full employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding
• Lead the monthly payroll cycle, including data collection, validation, and coordination with external providers
• Maintain audit-ready payroll records and ensure strict compliance with Polish labor law and regulatory requirements
• Serve as the primary point of contact for employee queries regarding HR administration and payroll via JIRA
• Administer employee benefits, occupational health processes, and leave management (sick leave, maternity, etc.)
• Manage and update employee data within BambooHR, including promotions, transfers, and contract updates
• Prepare country-specific employment templates and documentation in partnership with legal teams
• Contribute to HR Operations projects, focusing on process improvements, automation, and system integrations

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in HR administration and payroll, ideally in an international environment
• Solid understanding of Polish labor law, payroll, compensation, and benefits
• English proficiency at a minimum of B2 level
• Strong proficiency in Google Sheets, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis
• High attention to detail and strong analytical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with BambooHR, Jira, Google Suite, Slack, and Confluence
• Experience supporting multiple European entities (e.g., NL or UK)
