About the role
Responsibilities
- Build and scale People Operations infrastructure using design thinking to ensure a premium employee and manager experience.
- Design scalable workflows, processes, and systems for the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, and contract management.
- Serve as the strategic owner of the People technology ecosystem, managing tools like BambooHR and Lattice.
- Implement AI and automation tools to reduce administrative burden and improve operational efficiency.
- Establish and maintain accurate People data, reporting, and analytics to provide insights into workforce trends and organizational health.
- Ensure compliance with Canadian and US employment laws and oversee benefits and compensation administration.
Requirements
- 7+ years of progressive experience in People Operations, HR Operations, or a similarly systems-oriented function.
- Demonstrated success building scalable operational infrastructure in high-growth environments.
- Deep knowledge of Canadian employment law and HR best practices.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems, workflow design, and process automation.
- Familiarity with HR tools such as BambooHR, Lattice, or Pave.
- Experience using AI tools like Claude, Gemini, or ChatGPT to improve workflows.
- Strong analytical capability and experience working with People data and metrics.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with US employment law and global workforce management.
