Senior People Business Partner

Responsibilities

• Build deep, trusted relationships with business unit leaders to serve as a strategic thought partner on organizational health and talent strategy.
• Develop a thorough understanding of client group business models to anticipate needs and connect People initiatives to business outcomes.
• Drive organizational design, succession planning, performance management, and leadership development.
• Navigate complex employee relations situations with sound judgment, empathy, and legal awareness.
• Champion change leadership initiatives, communicating transitions with clarity and building stakeholder alignment.
• Execute end-to-end People programs including performance cycles, engagement actions, and compensation planning.
• Identify gaps and design new People infrastructure to support a rapidly scaling environment.

Requirements

• BS/BA degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 8–10 years of HRBP or People Business Partner experience.
• Background in a fast-growth SaaS or technology company.
• Demonstrated ability to build advisory relationships with senior and C-suite leaders.
• Proven expertise in handling complex employee relations.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work onsite 5 days a week in the Pleasanton, CA office.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a high-growth startup scaling through significant organizational change.
• Track record of building or rebuilding People programs from scratch.
• Experience supporting global or international business units.
• Proficiency with Workday (HCM, Recruiting, Talent).
• Exposure to M&A, rapid headcount scaling, or organizational redesign.
