Senior Penetration Testing Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform penetration testing engagements against a diverse cloud environment to find vulnerabilities in software, systems, and networks
• Set scope, priority-based test plans, and timelines for penetration testing engagements
• Develop testing methodologies for new applications, technologies, protocols, and concepts
• Work with security and engineering teams to manage product releases and communicate findings
• Partner with security engineers in the Product Security program to drive reviews, designs, and controls
• Advocate for and support security processes within the SDLC

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in penetration testing
• Ability to find and exploit bugs in C++, Java, JavaScript, Go, and Python
• Experience with Kubernetes, AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Proficiency testing Cloud Native Systems, Micro Services, Database Systems, and Web Applications
• Strong understanding of application and system technologies to assess risk impact
• Ability to develop new attack methods without heavy reliance on automated tools
• Strong communication skills and experience working with developers and security engineers
• Experience balancing security requirements with business demands during product releases
