Senior Penetration Tester

Responsibilities

• Perform penetration testing engagements against a diverse cloud environment to find vulnerabilities in software, systems, and networks
• Set scope, priority-based test plans, and timelines for penetration testing engagements
• Develop methodologies to test new applications, technologies, protocols, and concepts without out-of-the-box solutions
• Work with security and engineering teams to manage product releases, communicate findings, and inform stakeholders
• Partner with security engineers in the Product Security program to drive reviews, designs, and controls
• Develop automated security testing tools and security automation frameworks to enhance scalability

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in penetration testing across various cloud environments
• Ability to find and exploit bugs in Java, TypeScript, JavaScript, Go, Python, or C++
• Experience with Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Proficiency testing Cloud Native Systems, AI Agents, Micro Services, Database Systems, and Web Applications
• Strong understanding of technologies supporting applications and systems to assess risk impact
• Ability to develop new attack methods beyond standard tool reliance
• Strong communication skills with a track record of working closely with developers and security engineers
• Experience balancing security requirements with business demands during product release cycles
