Senior Payroll Specialist

Responsibilities

• Run end-to-end payrolls for a growing portfolio of enterprise customers with complex requirements
• Own client relationships as the primary point of contact
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, including AI integration
• Act as a payroll expert in support of sales and prospective customers
• Collaborate across Implementation, Product, Customer Success, and Support teams
• Monitor KPIs, SLAs, and compliance to ensure high service standards
• Stay current on legislation, tools, and trends shaping payroll

Requirements

• Hands-on bureau payroll experience processing for multiple clients
• Strong working knowledge of UK payroll legislation (PAYE, RTI, pension auto-enrolment, statutory payments)
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent payrolls at volume across different cycles
• Experience operating as a trusted advisor to clients
• Self-sufficient mindset suited to a startup environment

Preferred Qualifications

• CIPP qualified or working towards it
• High-volume or multi-sector bureau experience
• Experience building or improving payroll tools and processes, including with AI
• Exposure to Ireland payroll
