Senior Payroll Specialist

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing, including validation, reconciliation, and reporting for multi-country operations
• Ensure accuracy of payroll inputs such as new hires, exits, variable pay, bonuses, and deductions
• Oversee full and final settlements, statutory reporting, and audit readiness
• Perform payroll variance analysis to identify trends and anomalies in fixed vs. variable pay
• Handle hybrid payroll environments by ensuring accuracy and validation controls across automated and manual systems
• Partner with finance and HR to support cost analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
• Identify opportunities to automate payroll processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with global stakeholders and act as an escalation point for complex payroll queries

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in payroll operations, preferably in a multi-country environment
• Strong experience in payroll analysis, reporting, and reconciliation
• Hands-on experience with SAP, HRMS, and Advanced Excel
• Proven track record in process optimization or transformation initiatives
• Strong understanding of statutory compliance and audit requirements
• Experience managing complex compensation structures

Preferred Qualifications

• Accounting background or relevant certification in Finance or Payroll specialization
• Strong orientation toward automation and data analytics
