Senior Payroll Associate

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing for the North American workforce, including US and Canadian hourly employees.
• Oversee payroll compliance, including tax filings, garnishments, and statutory deductions across federal, state, provincial, and local regulations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with People, Finance, and external vendors to resolve discrepancies and streamline workflows.
• Identify and implement process improvements and system enhancements to optimize payroll operations.
• Provide exceptional support to employees regarding payroll inquiries with clear and timely communication.

Requirements

• 5+ years of dedicated experience managing payroll operations for a growing organization.
• Proven expertise in North American payroll, specifically covering both US and Canadian processing for hourly employees.
• In-depth knowledge of federal, state, provincial, and local payroll tax regulations and compliance.
• Experience with major payroll systems such as Workday or ADP and various HRIS platforms.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in high-volume environments.
• A 'compliance first' mindset to navigate heavily regulated industry requirements.
