Senior Payroll Analyst

Responsibilities

• Process complex bi-weekly payroll activities accurately to ensure data integrity and monthly KPI reporting
• Provide guidance and support to Payroll Analysts regarding payroll processes and audits
• Investigate and resolve complex employee inquiries and payroll discrepancies
• Assist management with payroll projects, system testing, and process improvement initiatives within SAP
• Support year-end activities, including the preparation of tax slips, annual reconciliations, and filings
• Ensure all payroll data processing complies with Bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Post-secondary Degree or Diploma in Human Resources, Accounting, Business, or a related field
• PCP or PLP Designation from the National Payroll Institute (completed or in progress)
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a high-volume, complex payroll environment
• Experience with large-scale ERP systems, preferably SAP and/or PeopleSoft HCM
• Strong knowledge of Federal and Provincial Employment Standards legislation
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
