Senior Payroll Analyst

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough payroll audits to identify and rectify errors, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.
• Manage EIB (Earnings Input Batch) data and maintain ACAS (Actual Compensation Administration System) data for accurate reporting.
• Administer Long-Term Incentive (LTI) programs and process dividend payments for US and Canadian employees.
• Manage vacation payouts, specifically adhering to California labor laws and other regional regulations.
• Execute month-end payroll processes, including tax remittances and consolidation of payroll accounts in Canada.
• Manage expatriate payroll, including housing and gross-up calculations.
• Participate in annual Workday system reviews, testing, and various payroll-related improvement projects.
• Provide guidance and support to payroll analysts to ensure team efficiency and resolve complex issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll processing, specifically focusing on US and Canadian payroll.
• Strong knowledge of US and Canadian payroll regulations, including California labor laws.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other payroll-related software.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with the Workday payroll system.
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or equivalent certification.
• Experience managing expatriate payroll and performing gross-up calculations.
