About the role

Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyze financial information to prepare general ledger entries and document business transactions
  • Conduct statistical analyses to determine trends, estimates, and significant changes, providing narrative reports on findings
  • Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other reports to summarize the company's financial position
  • Monitor compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and internal company procedures
  • Review, investigate, and correct errors or inconsistencies in financial entries and reports
  • Assist management with the review, processing, and analysis of monthly close entries
  • Perform reconciliation of assigned balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy
  • Make recommendations for improving accounting processes, reserves, assets, and expenditures

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 8+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment
  • Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools
  • Strong analytical, auditing, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently while meeting strict deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a related field
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation
  • Experience with payroll systems, specifically UKG
