Senior Patent Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and implement streamlined patent application processes from invention identification to rights maintenance
• Establish patent incentive mechanisms to motivate R&D teams and ensure regulatory compliance
• Strategically manage the company's international patent landscape and portfolio
• Collaborate on patent licensing, cross-licensing, and standard-essential patent (SEP) strategies
• Develop risk mitigation protocols, including infringement monitoring and early warning systems
• Scout for breakthrough innovations in HPC, AI, and server chip technologies
• Draft or supervise the drafting of high-value patent claims
• Lead the resolution of IP disputes, litigation, and enforcement actions in collaboration with external counsel

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
• 5–7 years of experience in patent engineering or IP management
• Familiarity with US patent laws, regulations, and procedures
• Experience designing patent management systems and incentive programs
• Technical expertise in Semiconductor, Microelectronics, Electronic Engineering, or Computer Science
• Experience in IP litigation, dispute resolution, and negotiations
