About the Company

Cornerstone Energy Services, Inc. specializes in engineering, survey, and land solutions for the energy infrastructure sector. We collaborate closely with developers and operators of oil and gas pipelines and electric transmission systems, supporting both extensive linear projects and site-specific developments.

Responsibilities

• Support the daily functions of field crews and manage personnel resources, accommodations, and site logistics
• Download, compile, review, and edit field survey data in accordance with company standards
• Establish effective communication with clients, peers, and crew members
• Manage all aspects of field survey crews, including subordinate direction and data acquisition
• Conduct tailgate meetings with survey crews before each shift
• Review, edit, process, and adjust survey data to assist in the production of deliverables
• Work with HR to hire new surveying talent and conduct performance reviews

Requirements

• High School Diploma required
• Ability to pass the Certified Survey Technician (CST) Level II exam and/or an associate’s degree in a related field with 5-7 years of field survey experience, OR LSIT with 2-5 years of experience
• Experience in management of field survey data
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, LDD, Civil 3D, and Carlson Survey
• Ability to travel up to 100%
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable DMV record
• Physical ability to hike through various terrains while carrying approximately 50 pounds of equipment

Preferred Qualifications

• Thorough understanding of COGO and data collection computations
• Strong understanding of survey theory and principles including boundary, topographic, and vertical surveys
• Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office suite and Adobe
