About the role
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical leader and advocate for the Sigma Computing and Databricks strategic alliance.
- Cultivate and maintain robust technical relationships with key personnel at Databricks, including Product Management, Solution Engineering, and Sales teams.
- Collaborate with Sigma's GTM teams to identify, qualify, and technically support strategic joint customer opportunities.
- Develop and champion technical GTM solutions, reference architectures, and partner-facing enablement content.
- Act as the internal subject matter expert on the Databricks platform, providing guidance to Sigma's Sales Engineering, Product, and Engineering teams.
- Lead the technical creation of joint thought-leadership content, including webinars, blogs, and presentations for major industry events.
- Design and evangelize industry-specific technical solutions leveraging the combined capabilities of Sigma and Databricks.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a highly technical customer-facing or partner-focused role (e.g., Solution Engineering, Technical Consulting, or Alliance Management).
- Mandatory hands-on experience with the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform, including its core architecture and ecosystem.
- Strong technical background in data analytics, data warehousing, business intelligence, and cloud data platforms.
- Proven experience working with BI and Analytics platforms.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for executive audiences.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% for partner engagements, customer meetings, and industry events.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience with Data Engineering or Front-End Software Development.
- Direct experience using Sigma Computing.
