Senior Paralegal

Responsibilities

• Support all phases of commercial litigation, including document and data preservation, collection, processing, review, and production
• Conduct legal research, perform cite-checking in legal briefs and memoranda, and perform complex factual investigations
• Manage discovery processes and prepare for and schedule depositions
• Coordinate pretrial preparation and provide trial support for proceedings in Oregon and other states
• Contribute to case strategy by making relevancy decisions regarding necessary information and documents
• Provide formal and informal training, coaching, and mentorship to junior paralegals and assistants
• Manage case budgets, forecasting, and accurate time recording in compliance with client billing requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 7-10 years of paralegal experience
• Proven Oregon trial experience
• Experience with automated litigation support software

Preferred Qualifications

• Paralegal certificate
• Experience working with management and staff of Fortune 100 companies
