Senior Palantir Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain batch and streaming data pipelines in Foundry using Pipeline Builder and Code Repositories
• Develop ontology models including objects, relationships, and actions to power business applications
• Build AI-native experiences using AIP Logic, Agent Studio, and conversational interfaces
• Deliver Foundry applications via Workshop, Quiver, and Contour for sales and operations
• Collaborate with external Palantir consultants to transition ownership of the platform
• Integrate Foundry with Azure-based medallion architecture and external systems via OSDK and APIs
• Ensure data quality through validation, lineage tracking, and automated monitoring

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience building production data pipelines
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry
• Strong SQL skills including window functions and query optimization
• Proficiency in Python, PySpark, and pandas
• Solid understanding of dimensional modeling (Kimball, star schema) and Data Vault
• Experience with ETL/ELT patterns, CDC, and workflow orchestration
• Working knowledge of Spark execution models and columnar formats like Parquet or Delta
• Proficiency with Azure data services or equivalent cloud experience (AWS/GCP)
• Experience with Git workflows and CI/CD

Preferred Qualifications

• Production experience with DBT on Azure
• Experience with medallion architecture or lakehouse patterns
• Experience evaluating LLM-powered features and prompt design
• Familiarity with electronics distribution, supply chain, or ERP data
• Knowledge of TypeScript or C# for OSDK consumers
