Senior Paediatric Occupational Therapist

Responsibilities

• Deliver family-centred therapy through assessments and interventions for children and adolescents
• Provide onsite and remote supervision for basic grade Occupational Therapists
• Collaborate within the multidisciplinary team to enhance service delivery
• Support colleagues with guidance, consultation, and training
• Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and parent/teacher training sessions
• Maintain accurate documentation using clinical records systems
• Contribute to service development and occasional workshops for parents and educators
• Ensure therapy rooms and equipment are maintained to a high standard

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Occupational Therapy validated for practice in Ireland
• Accredited membership with AOTI and CORU registration
• Garda Vetting clearance and satisfactory references
• Access to own car for travel purposes
• Minimum of 4+ years’ post-qualification experience in paediatric OT (preferred)
• Experience working with neurodiverse conditions, autism, sensory processing disorders, and Down syndrome

• Ayres Sensory Integration® training
• ADOS/ADIR training
