Senior Packaging Development Manager

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end packaging development and technical project management for secondary packaging including corrugates, trays, pads, and carriers
• Lead gated project plans from concept to launch, driving cross-functional deliverables and managing risk registers
• Develop new packaging for liquid/powder and provide print/packaging support for the Innovation team
• Translate approved graphics into print-ready deliverables aligned with dyelines, board grades, and pallet patterns
• Plan and execute print trials, pre-production approvals, and first article inspections
• Partner with Manufacturing Engineering to validate runnability for new dyelines and coordinate line trials
• Embed Critical to Quality characteristics into project requirements and support root cause analysis for performance issues
• Drive complexity reduction through SKU rationalization and board standardization

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Packaging, Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or other Engineering field preferred
• 3-5 years of experience in Product Development or Process Engineering
• 3-5 years of experience in Project Management
• Experience with Smartsheet, Microsoft PM, or other project management systems

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP experience
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
