Senior Packaging Analyst

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize packaging solutions to ensure product protection, functionality, and cost efficiency
• Serve as the plant subject matter expert for packaging, partnering with the Central Packaging team and external suppliers
• Support daily operations by providing real-time problem-solving for Assembly, Production, Quality, and Logistics teams
• Lead root cause analysis for packaging-related process deviations and implement corrective actions
• Analyze packaging utilization and lead initiatives focused on cost reduction and logistics optimization
• Oversee investment planning and maintenance strategies for special racks and reusable packaging assets

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 1 year of packaging/operations experience plus 2 years of lead experience, OR
• Master's degree with no experience, OR
• 3 years of packaging/operations experience plus 2 years of lead experience
• Proficiency in CAD tools (CATIA, SolidWorks, or AutoCAD)
• Strong understanding of root cause analysis and structured problem-solving
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement tools
• Knowledge of packaging engineering principles and best practices
• Experience in project management and KPI development
• Strong supplier management and negotiation capabilities
