Senior Pack Production Quality Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the Pack Production Quality Engineering team, inspectors, and quality technicians
• Develop and execute plant-level quality strategies to reduce risk and ensure compliance
• Serve as the primary quality escalation contact for production and customer-facing issues
• Oversee collection and analysis of quality metrics including defect rates and process capability indices
• Direct and validate root cause analysis (RCA) and lead corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
• Drive Kaizen, DOE, SPC improvements, and Lean-based quality enhancements
• Manage non-conforming product processes, including segregation and material review
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and internal quality standards
• Train and mentor operators, engineers, and inspectors on quality standards and tools
• Support external customer audits and manage customer complaints

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field
• 7+ years of quality engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
• 2–3+ years of leadership experience managing engineers or quality teams
• Deep knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and core quality tools (SPC, FMEA, 8D, 5Why, Fishbone, DOE, MSA)
• Experience with Kaizen, CAPA methodologies, and statistical problem-solving
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management systems
• Strong communication, conflict-resolution, and cross-functional leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the battery or automotive industry
