Senior OT Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide operational and technical support for Midstream Operational Technology (OT) environments, including server, network, and infrastructure systems.
• Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of complex, highly available, and scalable hardware and software systems.
• Conduct root cause analysis to identify performance bottlenecks and implement solutions to enhance system utilization.
• Manage technical support activities and troubleshooting for infrastructure, including handling escalated issues and leading vendor technical support.
• Drive continuous improvement by analyzing performance data, establishing benchmarks, and performing capacity planning.
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including troubleshooting guides and configuration standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operations and Process Control, to ensure system reliability and security.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in IT or OT infrastructure.
• Deep expertise in network engineering (routing, switching, firewalls, and security controls).
• Strong server administration skills, including Windows/Linux management, patching, and performance tuning.
• Proficiency in virtualization technologies and infrastructure management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certifications such as Cisco (CCNA/CCNP), CompTIA Network+, or Security+.
• Microsoft or Linux server certifications.
• VMware certification (VCP).
• Experience with cybersecurity frameworks and OT-specific security protocols.
