Senior OT and Cybersecurity Systems Specialist

Responsibilities

• Inventory, document, and assess OT and IT assets, systems, and facility infrastructure
• Perform detailed assessments of control systems including BAS, SCADA, ICS, and PLCs
• Evaluate cybersecurity posture, resiliency, and integration with enterprise IT networks
• Conduct cybersecurity assessments and gap analyses using NIST, IEC 62443, and ITSG-33
• Recommend mitigation strategies, security controls, and architectural improvements
• Develop conceptual and detailed network architectures and secure communication strategies
• Produce technical documentation, network diagrams, and migration roadmaps
• Collaborate with DND stakeholders, facility managers, and engineers
• Present technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences

Requirements

• University degree or college diploma in Engineering, Cybersecurity, or Computer Science
• Minimum 10 years of experience in OT, industrial automation, or critical infrastructure
• Experience with BAS/DDC, SCADA, ICS, and PLC-based control systems
• Experience conducting OT cybersecurity assessments and risk analyses
• Experience developing secure network architectures and IT/OT integration strategies
• Ability to obtain and maintain Secret (Level II) Canadian Federal Government Security clearance
• Willingness to travel to Department of National Defence facilities across Canada

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in federal government, defence, utilities, or transportation sectors
• CISSP, GICSP, or ISA/IEC 62443 certifications
• CCNP, CCIE, or CISM certifications
• PMP or Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation
