Senior Organizer

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee volunteer recruitment, training, and management programs both virtually and in-person
• Meet daily, weekly, and monthly goals related to recruitment, voter contact, and network mapping
• Conduct voter contact activities including door-to-door canvassing, phone banking, and SMS texting
• Build and manage community events to execute field and organizing strategies
• Train and activate volunteers to serve as leaders and ambassadors within the network organizing model
• Ensure timely and accurate data entry and reporting
• Represent the organization at community events and meetings

Requirements

• At least one year of experience as a canvasser and/or organizer
• At least one cycle of experience on a grassroots issue advocacy, legislative, civic engagement, or electoral campaign
• Strong proficiency with Votebuilder/VAN
• Valid driver's license, insurance, and reliable transportation with a clean driving record
• Basic computer literacy and ability to work in a metrics-driven environment
• Ability to work long and irregular hours, including nights and weekends

• Bilingual experience
