About the role

Responsibilities

  • Partner with program stakeholders and engineering disciplines to ensure accurate technical requirements and schedule execution
  • Lead strategic supply chain activities to manage work with suppliers and complex programs
  • Manage supplier relationships and performance throughout all contract phases
  • Conduct supplier assessments and develop recovery, corrective, and preventative action plans
  • Gather data for supplier performance evaluation and identify improvement opportunities
  • Develop and execute work movement plans and procurement strategies
  • Communicate supplier performance risks, issues, and opportunities to stakeholders

Requirements

  • Technical Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in a mathematics, scientific, or information technology field
  • 5+ years of experience in program management within supplier management
  • 5+ years of experience developing Master Phasing Plans or Master Schedules
  • 5+ years of experience in negotiating contracts or managing supplier performance
  • U.S. Citizenship required to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance (Top Secret/SCI required post-start)

Preferred Qualifications

  • 10+ years of related work experience for Lead level positions
  • Experience in composite spacecraft or aircraft assembly manufacturing
  • Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) for cost-type purchase contracts
  • Proficiency in Root Cause and Corrective Action analysis (RCCA)
  • Experience with proposal development and strategic customer requirement development
