Senior Operator, Packaging

Responsibilities

• Set up, run, and oversee packaging production equipment during the 3rd shift
• Visually inspect products and monitor equipment for proper operation
• Perform process-specific cleaning activities for lines and equipment
• Document material runs via Batch Production Records, In-Process Sheets, and Log Books
• Manage material/component consumption and returns using SAP
• Perform calibration on scales, line meters, coating ovens, and micrometers
• Coordinate and oversee the work of other operators, acting as a backup to the Lead Operator or Supervisor
• Collaborate with QA and Production Support to minimize impact on quality during unscripted events
• Assist in training new personnel in manufacturing operations

Requirements

• High School diploma
• Minimum of seven years of experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment
• Proficiency with SAP for material verification and consumption
• Experience with equipment setup, operation, and calibration
• Strong documentation skills for maintaining Batch Production Records
