Senior Operator, Components

Responsibilities

• Set up, run, and visually inspect production equipment to ensure proper operation
• Coordinate and oversee the work of other operators, acting as a backup to the Lead Operator or Supervisor
• Perform material/component consumption, status verification, and post-batch returns using SAP
• Document material runs via Batch Production Records, In-Process Sheets, Log Books, and Time Sheets
• Perform calibration on scales, line meters, coating ovens, and micrometers
• Prepare process-specific cleaning activities and maintain a clean, orderly work area
• Assist in training new personnel in manufacturing operations under supervisor guidance
• Collaborate with QA and Production Support to minimize impact during unscripted production events

Requirements

• High School diploma
• Minimum of seven years of manufacturing experience (combination of education and experience considered)
• Proficiency with SAP for material and component management
• Experience with equipment setup and visual inspection
• Ability to perform equipment calibration and technical documentation
