Senior Operations Technology System Administrator

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support Operational Technology (OT) infrastructure and associated applications
• Create and maintain a stable network and server environment with an emphasis on disaster recovery and business continuity
• Configure and deploy ESXi clusters and manage Windows Servers according to audit requirements
• Design and maintain information security protocols, specifically regarding NERC CIP regulatory issues
• Manage SAN/NAS storage across multiple disparate devices and protocols
• Perform server stability tasks including patching, backups, and testing
• Manage core vendor relationships and provide light DBA efforts for SQL environments
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical staff to ensure a resilient and highly available infrastructure

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 5+ years of Windows system administration experience
• 5+ years of Microsoft Active Directory experience (Structure, GPOs, Health, etc.)
• 3+ years of VMWare ESX administration in clustered and non-clustered environments
• 2+ years of network design and troubleshooting experience (DNS, Routing, Traffic Management)
• 1+ years of Information Security experience
• 1+ years of telecommunications experience
• Strong comprehension of the OSI model and 5+ years in a technical support role

Preferred Qualifications

• Practical experience with Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity methodologies
• 1+ years of Visual Basic Scripting experience
• 2+ years of experience with VDI and Veeam
• 1+ years of experience with RSA SecureID and SQL Server Administration
• 1+ years of experience with Network Appliance configuration and storage infrastructure
• 1+ years of experience with System Center or other centralized management technologies
