Senior Operations Specialist

Responsibilities

• Lead the Full DAPs end assessment process, including auditing the current evidence base against regulatory criteria.
• Conduct gap analyses to identify weaknesses and drive corrective action plans.
• Coordinate cross-functional evidence gathering from teams across Learning, Governance, and Student Engagement.
• Draft the formal self-assessment narrative using the PEE (Policy, Explain, Evidence) structure.
• Manage the project plan and timeline to ensure successful submission by the October 2026 deadline.
• Maintain a shared project tracker to ensure all stakeholders meet evidence requirements.

Requirements

• Experience in higher education quality assurance or regulatory compliance functions.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to hold senior leaders accountable.
• Strong technical writing skills, specifically the ability to produce formal regulatory narratives.
• Proven project management rigour with experience managing complex workplans and hard deadlines.
• Ability to interpret dense regulatory guidance and translate it into actionable internal tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct experience with DAPs assessments or OfS self-assessment submissions.
• Familiarity with the apprenticeship or workforce learning sector.
• Experience drafting formal quality self-assessment documents for bodies such as Ofsted or QAA.
• Understanding of FHEQ and threshold academic standards.
