Senior Operations Specialist

Responsibilities

• Provide program-level project management oversight across operational, quality, and site capital initiatives
• Lead project planning activities including scope definition, resource planning, scheduling, risk management, and milestone execution
• Support and maintain site Quality Systems, including deviations, investigations, CAPAs, change controls, and procedural documentation
• Manage CAPEX governance, including business case support, review board coordination, and financial tracking
• Partner cross-functionally with teams across Quality, Operations, Engineering, Facilities, EHS, and Finance

Requirements

• Practical experience leading a Lean transformation within an organization
• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, engineering, finance, or business discipline (or 10+ years of equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of experience working in a regulated GxP environment
• Demonstrated experience in project and program management oversight in an operational setting
• Working knowledge of Quality Systems, regulatory compliance, and Lean principles
• Strong digital capability in data analytics, financial tracking tools, and AI-enabled productivity platforms

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology manufacturing operations
• Formal project or program management certification
• Experience managing CAPEX projects and financial governance
• Experience supporting regulatory inspections or health authority interactions
• Experience applying Lean tools such as value stream mapping or Kaizen
