Senior Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Establish operational procedures for incoming/outgoing shipments, material handling, and inventory management
• Maintain physical condition of warehouse and equipment
• Manage the budget and P&L of the operation
• Monitor and ensure facility KPIs are met for profitability and productivity
• Lead interviewing, hiring, training, and performance management for supervisory and hourly staff
• Coordinate warehouse activities with customer service and sales departments
• Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, security, and housekeeping standards

Requirements

• 6 to 8 years of related experience in Supply Chain, Fulfillment, or Distribution Center Operations
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Experience leading teams of 40+ employees
• Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Proficiency with Advanced Excel, Outlook/Gmail, and Project Management Software
• Experience with labor management systems and productivity initiatives
• Ability to solve practical problems in environments with limited standardization

Preferred Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma certification
• Experience with process workflow creation
