Senior Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Serve as the single point of authority and primary representative for the entire contracted effort
• Provide executive leadership and strategic direction for contract execution and operational performance
• Maintain overall responsibility for program performance, financial management, and customer satisfaction
• Lead and oversee cross-functional teams and subordinate managers across multiple operational sites
• Manage contractual requirements, schedules, budgets, staffing, and resource allocation
• Oversee production facility operations and ensure efficient execution of manufacturing, fabrication, assembly, maintenance, or production activities
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements, safety standards, quality standards, and Government regulations
• Deliver executive-level briefings regarding program status, accomplishments, risks, and financial performance

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in aligned functional responsibilities
• Minimum of 5 years of engineering, technical, program, or operations management supporting U.S. Navy or DoD programs
• Minimum of 5 years of experience managing a production facility environment (manufacturing, fabrication, machine shop, etc.)
• Demonstrated experience leading personnel in hands-on production or maintenance activities
• Experience providing executive-level leadership for contract performance and financial execution
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technical, or Business discipline with 10 years experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must be eligible to obtain a Secret security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience managing Navy production, fabrication, or depot-level operations
• Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) certifications
• Program Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Experience managing Government-owned production facilities
