Senior Operations Manager - ESG & Sustainability

Responsibilities

• Stand up and take long-term ownership of Legora's ESG function, defining strategy and operating plans.
• Automate the reporting stack by building AI-driven workflows for CSRD and RFP/security questionnaires.
• Own CSRD readiness, data collection, and disclosure production in partnership with Finance and Legal.
• Model and track the climate footprint of compute and datacentres.
• Build the GHG/carbon accounting model and manage the carbon offset programme.
• Represent Legora on sustainability calls with client leadership teams and CXOs.
• Drive audit readiness to ensure the programme remains defensible as regulations evolve.

Requirements

• 8+ years in ESG, sustainability, or related compliance/operating roles.
• Deep fluency in AI and datacentre climate footprints and efficiency trends.
• AI-first mindset with a focus on automating reporting (CSRD, EcoVadis, CDP, SBTi).
• Working knowledge of CSRD and GHG accounting.
• Experience in client-facing roles with leadership and CXO-level stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills in analytics and slide presentation.
• Background in MBB or top-tier strategy consulting is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building or leading a tech company's ESG strategy from scratch.
• Experience in regulated or enterprise-sales environments where ESG credentials impact deals.
