About the role
Responsibilities
- Participate in an intensive six-month leadership development program involving 90-100% travel to various plasma centers.
- Manage diverse teams by providing feedback, conducting performance reviews, and supporting staff development.
- Drive operational excellence in high-volume blood plasma collection facilities through hands-on training and mentorship.
- Cultivate a positive donor experience to ensure high levels of customer service and retention.
- Collaborate with senior management to solve problems and implement operational support strategies.
- Prepare for a permanent Plasma Center Operations Manager role, which requires relocation upon program completion.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience leading medium to large teams (20+ direct reports).
- Ability to travel 90-100% of the time during the trainee program.
- Willingness to relocate to a BioLife location upon successful completion of the program.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical ability to stand for entire shifts and lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
- Experience working within highly regulated environments (SOP, GDP, GMP, CLIA, or FDA).
- Experience in high-volume retail or regulated operational settings.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and technical leadership skills.
