Senior Operational Technology Security Engineer

Responsibilities

• Partner with Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, and Digital Technology to embed and standardize OT security controls in factory design across multiple sites
• Design and implement OT network segmentation and traffic control strategies, including firewall policies and least-privilege communication models
• Design and implement identity-based remote access solutions for OT environments to replace legacy VPN models
• Evaluate and select vendor solutions for feasibility and scalability within manufacturing environments
• Implement and manage backup and recovery strategies for industrial control systems such as PLCs and robots
• Maintain OT asset inventory and device visibility solutions across manufacturing sites
• Enable plant operations teams to adopt cybersecurity controls through training and onboarding processes

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering/Science, or an equivalent field
• 7+ years of experience in network and cybersecurity infrastructure
• Proven experience supporting industrial or Operational Technology (OT) environments
• Experience deploying and configuring security solutions including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and network segmentation
• Experience with multi-site deployments and the ability to negotiate between factory and enterprise systems
• Strong project tracking, planning, and cross-functional communication skills
