Senior Oncology Specialist

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary customer contact providing clinical knowledge of oncology products to medical professionals
• Create and execute comprehensive territory sales plans to achieve or exceed sales targets
• Deliver branded sales messages and execute planned medical educational programs
• Manage accounts by ensuring product access, resolving reimbursement issues, and maintaining contracts
• Analyze business effectiveness and territory data to develop strategic plans with the District Manager
• Partner with internal colleagues to share best practices and stay updated on industry and regulatory changes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 3 years of sales or clinical experience in a healthcare/scientific field
• OR Associate degree and 6 years of sales or clinical experience in a healthcare/scientific field
• OR High school diploma/GED and 8 years of sales or clinical experience in a healthcare/scientific field

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Oncology
• Three or more years of sales or marketing experience within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device industries
• Product or hospital sales experience in oncology, nephrology, dermatology, rheumatology, or inflammation
• Local market knowledge of the Washington D.C., Arlington, Alexandria, or Frederick areas
• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or Business Administration
