About the role

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary customer contact, providing comprehensive clinical knowledge of oncology products to medical professionals.
  • Create and execute a comprehensive territory sales plan to achieve or exceed sales targets.
  • Deliver branded sales messages and execute planned medical educational programs.
  • Manage accounts by ensuring product access, resolving reimbursement issues, and maintaining product contracts.
  • Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to drive sales within the assigned territory.
  • Analyze business effectiveness and territory data to develop strategic plans in partnership with the District Manager.
  • Partner with internal colleagues to share best practices and maintain continuous learning regarding industry and regulatory changes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 3 years of sales or clinical experience in a healthcare/scientific field.
  • OR Associate degree and 6 years of sales or clinical experience in a healthcare/scientific field.
  • OR High school diploma/GED and 8 years of sales or clinical experience in a healthcare/scientific field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Oncology.
  • Three or more years of sales or marketing experience within the pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or medical device industries.
  • Product or hospital sales experience in oncology, nephrology, dermatology, rheumatology, or inflammation.
  • Local market knowledge of the Greensboro, NC and surrounding VA territories.
  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or Business Administration.
