Senior Officer - Production

Responsibilities

• Manage production plant operations to ensure scheduled production meets quality, cost, and regulatory standards.
• Oversee the issuance of Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR) and Equipment Cleaning Records (ECR) for intermediates and APIs.
• Ensure all production activities comply with approved written procedures, cGMPs, safety protocols, and statutory guidelines.
• Evaluate and implement opportunities for waste and water reduction.
• Maintain and update all relevant process, regulatory, engineering, and statutory documentation.
• Perform SAP, CAPA, LMS, and DCM activities relevant to the production profile.
• Prepare, review, and approve SOPs, risk impact analyses, and risk assessments.
• Monitor quality and production parameter trends for intermediates and APIs.
• Ensure equipment calibration, facility maintenance, and inspection readiness.
• Lead, train, and develop subordinates while maintaining high morale and industrial relations.

Requirements

• B.E. in Chemical Engineering or M.Sc. in Chemistry.
• 8 to 15 years of experience working in an API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient) plant.
• Strong knowledge of cGMP and FDA regulations.
• Proficiency in industry best practices and regulatory compliance.
